  1. Congress2018 was fantastic. I was a first-timer and your blog captures the spirit of Congress perfectly. My favourite memories will be of spending time with “my tribe”. It’s a wonderful opportunity to talk to people whose eyes don’t glaze over when you mention “My 3rd great grandfather …..”

    • Oh gosh, yes! Thankfully my mother and my husband love hearing the stories. But whenever I mention genealogy at work or with friends, they get this wild look in the eye and you can see them looking madly for the escape route! 🙂 Congress was such great fun, wasn’t it? Thank you for stopping by!

    • Thanks, Robbie! I’m glad you like the photos. I’ve been thinking about doing the UTAS course for awhile but just don’t have the time to fit it in. I hear it is a great course.

Its a great course – there’s so much to learn and its a great way to get into tertiary study especially if you haven’t done anything like that before.
